Savannah Preservation (Concept Designer, 2012)
Digital Programs Used: Google SketchUp- the digital model. Photoshop- the final model rendering.
Synopsis: This historical concept design offers an imagined office space of the president of Khan & Co. Linen Distributing in 1908 for the local historic society. The building still exists today as Crites Hall, home of the School of Entertainment Arts for Savannah College of Art & Design, and is nestled near the Port of Savannah. This design is a quiet homage to the preceding Industrial Revolution, but with a slightly contemporary arrangement in order to celebrate the past and present traditions being kept alive by Savannah preservationists.
